Who We Help

Caring for an aging loved one is hard. You don't have to do it alone.

Whether you're planning ahead or in the middle of a crisis, we meet you where you are.

Adult children & families

You're juggling work, kids, and a parent who needs more help than yesterday. We take the research, phone calls, and coordination off your plate.

Seniors planning ahead

You want to stay in control of your future. We help you understand your options, build a plan, and protect your independence.

Families in crisis

A fall, a diagnosis, a sudden hospital discharge. We mobilize quickly to stabilize the situation and find the right next step.

What We Do

Practical, hands-on support across every part of senior care.

One trusted point of contact — instead of a binder full of phone numbers.

Care navigation

We assess needs, map out options, and build a personalized care plan tailored to your family's situation, budget, and values.

Medical advocacy

If there is a need, we can work with your providers and ask the right questions, coordinate between specialists and avoid things falling through the cracks.

Medicare & insurance

We translate the fine print, identify benefits you're entitled to, appeal denied claims, and help you stretch every dollar.

Facility & home care selection

From in-home aides to assisted living to memory care — we vet providers, schedule tours, and help you choose with confidence.

Family communication

We facilitate hard conversations, mediate between siblings, and keep everyone informed so no one carries the weight alone.

Crisis & transition support

Hospital discharge, sudden decline, or unsafe living situation — we respond fast and bring calm to chaotic moments.

Client Story

Real families. Real relief.

Bryte Path stepped in the week my mom was discharged from the hospital and I honestly don't know what we would have done without them. They handled the things I couldn't even understand, let alone manage. For the first time in months, I slept through the night.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

How is a care advocate different from a case manager or social worker?
Hospital case managers and agency social workers are paid by the institution and limited to its services. We work for your family — independently, with no ties to any facility or insurer — and we stay with you long after a discharge or single appointment.
What does it cost?
We offer hourly consulting, project-based care plans, and ongoing monthly retainers. Most families start with a free 30-minute call so we can scope the support you need and quote a price upfront — no surprises.
Do you serve clients outside our local area?
Yes. Most care navigation can be handled remotely by phone, video, and email. For in-person visits, hospital advocacy, or facility tours, we serve Southern Illinois directly and can refer trusted colleagues elsewhere.
Does Medicare or insurance pay for your services?
Independent patient advocacy is typically a private-pay service and not covered by Medicare or commercial insurance. However, we often save families far more than our fees by catching billing errors, appealing denials, and avoiding unnecessary care.
Can you work alongside the doctors and agencies we already have?
Absolutely — that's most of what we do. We coordinate with your existing providers, fill the gaps between them, and make sure everyone is rowing in the same direction on behalf of your loved one.
